The British University of Nicosia (BUN) was founded in 2013, with the goal of developing an interdisciplinary learning environment in tune with UK and European educational standards and dedicated to providing students with all the skills they need for their future academic and professional lives.
The University is fully accredited by the relevant higher education authorities in North Cyprus and Turkey (YOK and YODAK) and its programmes and diplomas are recognised by UK NARIC. The University is also an official London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Qualification Centre , which offers students the opportunity to take additional courses and qualifications to add to their career portfolio. International accreditation of all programs is a prime component of University policy.
As one of the newest universities on the island, the British University has a fast-developing infrastructure with a brand new modern campus under construction in Nicosia and a fast expanding set of academic and vocational programs. Students at BUN are required to graduate not only as field specialists, but as skilled communicators and leaders, with top class digital skills, and a broad-ranging outlook that will make them attractive propositions to future employers. The highly equipped facilities and services offered at BUN have all been developed to support thls philosophy.
